Braid

I have crazy hair sometimes! Aaaaand you knowwwww.... sometimes I just don't feel like doing it!
Being a hair dresser gives you more pressure to always make sure your hair looks good too!
Anyways I had a day where I just played with my hair and didn't really end up keeping it anyway of the ways I styled it but I love braids and just braided it a million times! It got really wavy and looked pretty awesome! One of the braids I did was a french sideways braid that dropped down the side of my hair.

Here is a picture of the french braid I did! I should do it when I go out for real because it was really sweet!

Necklace Collection

There are a lot of thing that I have a lot of and necklaces are one of them. Its not very fun to have them laying in a little bowl or jewelry set all the time because they will get tangled or there may be one stuck at the bottom that you can't see and just totally forgot about!

So I got an old bulletin board and pinned them on to the bulletin board! Before I did that I painted it just to give it a little oomph or pop I guess you could say! It was actually pretty sweet because when I was painting the bulletin board the edges of it had a gloss on it so the paint didn't stay on very well but it gave it a really nice vintage look which was pretty convenient because I usually paint a vintage look on a lot of the things I paint and this just made is one less job I had to do!

Now I don't have "in the process" pictures or before and after pictures like really smart bloggers do or my sisters would do. I just have an after! So I hope you like it!

Giant Sunglasses

In the beginning of this summer I went to Target with my sister and we saw a giant pair of baby blue cardboard sunglasses hanging up in the aisles from the ceilings. Being my unusual self (someone that "collects sunglasses and owns over 30 pairs of sunglasses)  I wanted to so badly jump up and grab the sunglasses and run out the door! Obviously that would have been a little impossible since I'm pretty sure the pair of giant sunglasses had to have been about 6 feet long sooo I didn't steal them, instead I made my own pair of giant sunglasses out of poster paper. It was really fun and easy. All I had to do was cut out the shape and paint on whatever color or design you'd like! I was in summer mode so I painted a summery look on them. Its not anything fancy, I rushed through it pretty quick and finished in probably an hour or so but I am still proud of them! Hope you enjoy them!
